Taylor Swift‘s schedule is looking pretty free these days. Will this weekend mark her return to WAGdom?
The Kansas City Chiefs play one of their final regular season games this Saturday against the Houston Texans.
Swift’s last appearance at boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games was more than three weeks ago when the Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders at home on Black Friday. She’s missed their following two games — one at home during her final off-weekend of the Eras Tour, and the other last Sunday in Cleveland, not far from the Kelces’ hometown.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the Chiefs game this weekend (as they continue their fight to try to be the greatest in the league).
What time is the Chiefs game?
The Chiefs play at 1 p.m. ET.
What channel is the Chiefs game on?
The game will air on NBC as well as Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
Where are the Chiefs playing?
The Chiefs are playing at home in Arrowhead Stadium.
Especially given the fact that Swift has only attended home games this season, and that this will be the last regular season in Kansas City, it seems possible she’ll be in attendance.
Are the Chiefs favored to win?
The Chiefs are currently 13-1 (we see what you did there, Tay) and the Texans are 9-5. The Chiefs also have the best record in the NFL.
The Chiefs’ chances of winning depend on a handful of factors. The Chiefs have won a number of close games this season, which has led some to wonder if they’re actually as good as their record suggests.
The other major factor is Patrick Mahomes’ health — the best quarterback in the NFL (and Kelce’s pal) has a high ankle sprain, which means he may or may not play this weekend. Especially given the fact that the Chiefs have already secured a spot in the playoffs, they don’t need this win to help them potentially reach the Super Bowl, which may give head coach Andy Reid good reason to want Mahomes to sit this one out. (Insert “these blokes warm the benches” joke here.)
The Chiefs are also vying to become the first team in NFL history to win the Super Bowl three years in a row, which may give them even more reason to allow Mahomes an extra week to rest and recover.
But knowing how Blondie works her Tayvoodoo at football games, we’re willing to bet the Chiefs stand an even better chance with her in attendance.
