The Eras Tour is winding down, and soon the only thing that’ll be left is the manuscript.
“The Official Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book,” to be exact. Beginning on Black Friday, Swifties will be able to purchase the official tour behind-the-scenes book exclusively at Target.
The 256-page hardcover book is listed at $39.99, and contains over 500 photos, “personal reflections written by Taylor Swift,” “never-before-seen performance photos from every era” and “exclusive rehearsal photos and behind-the-scenes images of instruments, costumes, set pieces and designer sketches.”
Variety shared an early look at a few pages of the book, including a reflection from Swift where she captions a photo of herself during the Fearless portion of the show. She recalls “frolicking across stages with my crystal covered guitar (which was bedazzled by my parents and my brother), fringe dress, and boots – alongside my band. This is the first moment in the show where we highlight the magnificent musicians in my live band, who are also the studio musicians who play on the Taylor’s Versions of my re-records.”

What time does the Eras Tour book come out?
This Friday, most Targets across the U.S. will open at 6 a.m. local time, at which point you can purchase the Eras Tour book, along with the first-ever vinyl and CD copies of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, per Taylor Nation.
“I recommend lining up at the story probably at 5 a.m., or at least getting to the store at 5 to see how long the line is,” Kaitlin Sonday, a TikToker and Target employee who frequently shares tips for shopping at the retail chain, shared in a recent video. “I’ve been hearing that a lot of people are going to be lining up and sharing friendship bracelets.”
Can you order the Eras Tour book online?
Both the book and album will then also be available in the U.S. for purchase online from Target on Saturday.
For international Swifties, The Anthology will be available for purchase online (Taylor Nation hasn’t specified if that means on the official Taylor Swift website, or the Target website) beginning Friday at 1 p.m. GMT.
It won’t be until a week later on Dec. 7 that the Eras Tour book will be available for purchase online internationally.
Will the Eras Tour book sell out?
Target’s website warns that “this item is expected to sell out quickly.”
“Some stores are probably going to be getting more stock than others. I’ve heard bigger stores may be getting two cases instead of one case of each,” Sonday said, adding that the location of the books may also vary in the stores, from being on display at the front of the store, farther inside the building or even behind the counter for customers to stand in line and purchase directly.
